I am an atypical URI education student. I am over fifty, live here in Wakefield RI and am embarking on my second career, which was what I originally wanted to do thirty years ago. I am a biology/general science secondary education w/ middle school endorsement major. (09). I enjoy playing with my grandchildren as well as reading and gardening. I'd prefer to teach middle school in an urban setting and my stealth objective as a teacher is to have students learn to stop and think before acting, as it will help them in many ways other than in their scholastic endeavors. The only sport I can currently engage in safely is Walking in the neighborhood.
